Manny Vilar is a recently retired 38-year NYS Park Police Supervisor, Founding President of the Police Benevolent Association of NYS, and a small business owner. Manny has over 20 years of police union advocacy.
Manny will work to ensure that District 2 is safer with a better quality of life.
Our community is facing several issues. We have a housing crisis, it is expensive to live here and while we want our families to stay, we also have to protect our environment. We want protected lands and clean water. We want solutions for energy and efficiency. Manny has the experience to bring people together to ensure that we are moving forward with these critical issues.
Unique Ideas
Manny will be new ideas and a fresh perspective to address the concerns in our community. Manny has the experience needed to work with the Suffolk County Legislature so District 2 has proper representation.
Community Knowledge
Manny is a life-long resident - born and raised in East Hampton. He has served the community as a volunteer, business owner, advocate and leader for decades. He will be a voice for the voiceless.
